TOGETHER UNITED

i brought my camera with me to work//school hoping there would be something happening downtown.  sure enough, i was leaving class tonight and walked right out of the school on Michigan Avenue into the beginning of this peaceful rally, chanting "THIS IS WHAT DEMOCRACY LOOKS LIKE!" "FOREVER UNITED, TOGETHER NOT DIVIDED!"  naturally, i followed them to the Trump Tower.  it was an accident walking in, but a conscious decision to join.  i wasn't sure if i should make this post in my MAD blog or REAL LIFE... but this is surely real life and i am looking forward to playing an active part in our nation's history... as an artist.  as a woman.  as a lesbian.  as an ally to friends from many OTHER walks.  not only documenting our now, but creating our future.
