Tomboy Makerspace

Last week, my friend Laurie had an open house to launch her new business, Tomboy Makerspace in Champaign, IL.  Her workshop will offer classes that teach women how to build Pinterest and Etsy based projects.  As a part of this she will provide the materials and tools and teach specialized skills ranging from wiring to staining, as well as how to properly hang your final product using her self-made anchor wall.  She is extremely talented and I have no doubt that this space will fill up with eager DIY fanatics.
